Purchase A 2003 Harley Davidson Road King Classic 100th Anniversary Motorcycle

I have had newer bikes in the past but I wanted a larger bike like the Road King but did not want to spend $20,000 – $30,000 to get it. I found this 2003 Road King 100th Anniversary with 44k miles for $7500 dollars. I was a bit worried about the miles but from what I have read, a good kept bike can or should get 100k out of it. Based upon my past riding experiences I will never reach that mileage so I am hoping this will be a great bike for me in years to come.

I want to travel around the state this coming year and I thought this would be a fantastic way to see the state and experience the outdoors. The paint is awesome and I love the saddle bags and my first foot boards.

Goal To Reach 299 lbs

I am using the Lose It App, Fitbit and Dietbet to lose weight about 14 lbs to my short term goal of 299 lbs. According to Dietbet I have to lose 12.5 lbs by March 11, 2018 in order to win at 300.5 lbs but my goal is to reach under 300 lbs by that time. My plan is to track everything I eat in Lose It to reach a daily caloric intake of 1600 calories when you subtract my walking with Fitbit. Not to add pressure to myself but I added a countdown clock to the sidebar to show the time remaining to reach my goal. Although my starting weight of 313 is with my clothes on holding a camera. My 299 lbs goal will be in my underwear so they should be about the same weight all in all.

Groundhog Day 2018 Punxsutawney PA

Made the trek to Gobblers Knob in Punxsutawney PA for the 132nd Groundhog’s Day celebration. We arrived there at about 4 am at the Walmart and purchased our bus tickets for $5 each. We rode the school bus to the top which is about 1 1/2 miles away. The temperature was 14 degrees but wind chill made it 4 degrees. At first everything was fine but after about an hour my toes and fingers started to get cold.

The inner circle arrived a little after 7 am and Punxsutawney Phil emerged and told us there will be 6 more weeks of winter. If you are near to Punxsutawney you should try and experience this just once. This was our second time – the first one was 4 years ago. Warning – If you’ve seen the movie Groundhog Day then you will be in for a shock. None of the movie was filmed in Punxsutawney and unlike the movie, Gobblers knob is not in the middle of town but out on a hill side above town. Other than that, the people are friendly and it’s a good time for all ages (If they can brave the cold for 2-3 hrs). BTW: Gates open at 3 am so the earlier you are the better the view but I think you would be ok if you can get there by 5:30 am.
