My problem is that I ate fast food for so many years that I never took that much time to stop and really learn how to cook. Although I&#039;ve cooked more in the past month than in the past year total.

I quit smoking 2 years ago using Chantix. I was only on it 2 weeks and was able to quit. This is coming from a guy that has 0 will power. I tried Hypnotism, gum, patches, zyban, movies, cold turkey and many more - believe me. The Chantix worked for me. It was like a miracle pill. Good luck and I wish you well because that is something that I am very thankful to have given up.</description>

		<description>Those hidden carbs can sneak up on you.  I too, love gum and unfortunately still smoke so I need the gum to mask the dreaded dragon cig-breath.   I&#039;ve been halving them for now but will take a peek at some other brands to see if I can find a better choice.  As far as quitting smoking - that&#039;ll be next year&#039;s resolution.  One thing at a time now.   However I noticed that with my walks and feeling so much better - I&#039;m not smoking as much nor want to.  I&#039;m sure I&#039;ll be psyched up to quit by this time next year.   Or I may even have switched to e-cigs by then.   No ciggie breath.  

You&#039;re also on time with the meats.  I&#039;m having better luck finding nice big hunks of it on sale and roasting my own.  A whole turkey, pork loin, ham (without glaze), beef, etc.  This way I know there aren&#039;t any hidden carbs in it.  It&#039;s cheaper too and I can freeze a good part of it for another time so I&#039;m not sick of it.  I&#039;m about to try Cauliflower rice for the first time this afternoon.  One of my weaknesses is Japanese food, their fried rice just smothered down with shrimp sauce.  If this cauliflower rice works as they say it does... yeah boi!!  I&#039;m tearing it up.
