My New Years Resolutions

Usually I don’t make a list but this year I am going to do it. 2 years ago was my best goal setting year so far but I want to make 2012 THE year. I want to make the list small but achievable goals but I also want to make several so I will constantly be working towards them. Here are my list of items that I would like to accomplish in 2012.

  • Lose weight to a minimum of 225 lbs.
  • Stop biting my fingernails
  • Dress professionally at work everyday.
  • Finish paint, flooring and trim in interior of my home.
  • De-Clutter every room in my home.
  • Digitize all of my Genealogy records
  • Digitize all of my photos
  • Pay off Credit Card
  • Get my Ford F100 running and on the road
  • Finish my Bathroom
  • Sell all unwanted items on eBay and Craigslist
  • Finish work on Shed
  • Finish three seasons room
  • Read the entire bible
  • Clean back yard and get rid of old bricks / yard waste
  • Keep home clean daily
  • Get mail bin for front door – Stop paper clutter
  • Get a emergency kit made with flash light etc.
  • Create a legacy folder for all my information
  • Get my blood pressure down into the normal range
  • Get off of Cholesterol medicine
  • Volunteer at least once per month
  • Take a cake decorating class
  • Walk at least 5,000 step per day with a goal of 10,000
  • Sleep at least 6 hours per night

Looking over my list – I feel that everyone of these is achievable in the coming year AND most of these items are already on my goals list. This would make such a huge impact on my life if I can accomplish these goals. Having said that – this isn’t really that big of a list and several of these could be done on any good weekend. I am stopping now – I am getting a start on the New Year and cleaning the house today.
